Ex Machina Review

Sci Fi reviews
Bald robot lady = adult mature film I guess?
In the far flung future of 2015, theaters are playing loud, CGI, action packed spectacles that are technically
science fiction. So when a movie that is a pure science fiction movie that isn’t about some skinhead dude firing a CGI sci-fi blaster while mumbling about jargon, it’s refreshing; even if at its core it is a modern update of a very familiar story.

Furious 7 Review

I’ll start the review off with a disclaimer: I’ve never been a fan of Fast and the Furious. That is also to say
Dwayne Johnson
A poster that looks normal.

that I’ve never been a “hater” either. The original movie didn’t leave a big impression on me. Maybe it was because I’m not a car guy? Maybe because I didn’t care about racing outside of a few things? Either way, I have no attachment to this franchise. In fact, I find that whenever a advertisement for this film aired, I would begin questioning how and why we are at a seventh installment? Alas, I digress.

Insurgent

Movie Posters
It could go either way I guess....

Insurgent, the second film in the Divergent series was released in theaters on March 20 in the US. Based on
the original novels by Veronica Roth, the movie continues the story of Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) as she fights against the system in a dystopian world. Following the events of the previous film, we see Tris and her friends (Theo James, Ansel Elgort, and Miles Teller) now on the run from the Erudite faction, led by Jeanine (Kate Winslet) who has ordered the capture of any Divergents in order to open a black box that can only be opened by a Divergent.
